The holy mysteries of the Church
To arrange any of these, speak with the clergy after the Divine Liturgy or telephone the cathedral office. Dates are entered in the parish register at least one month in advance.

Held on Saturdays and Sunday afternoons. The godparent must be an Orthodox Christian in good standing. Bring the civil birth certificate to the office.

Crownings are not celebrated during the fasting seasons or on the eves of the great feasts. Couples meet the priest before the date is fixed.

Heard after Great Vespers on Saturday evening, and at any time by appointment. Especially encouraged during the four fasting seasons.

المناولة المقدسة
Holy Communion is given at every Divine Liturgy to Orthodox faithful prepared by prayer, fasting and confession. Baptised and chrismated children commune from infancy.

Served for the whole parish on Great Wednesday, and for the sick on request at any time.

Memorial services are served on Sundays after the Divine Liturgy. Give the names to the office by Friday.

The clergy visit homes with holy water through the weeks following the Theophany.
